When you find the idea of great mobile app, which is really unique and can conquer the peaks of AppStore and Google Play, if you a wise person - you just give a slap to yourself and get back to stuff. If you're not the wise one - you can start investigation of the market and find out, that it's a boiler plate and your idea is implemented, and even better, then you planned. But if you quite an idiot like me - you can start coding (because you love it). And if you are also an obstinate one, once i'll get a final build of your app, which is ready to be submitted to appstore. And here the tale begins!
This year i've decided to start with a small app for Periscope fans: it's OnAir for Periscope. This app allows you to watch most popular periscope broadcasts in shuffle-manner with simple 'tap-to-show-next' controls.
The app is released!
Here some most interesting features:
- Watch the most popular periscope's broadcasts without registration
- Skip broadcast and see next by tap (or swipe to see next/previous)
- Long press to see broadcast's info or continue watching in official periscope app
WARNING! IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOUND - TURN OFF SILENT MODE ON PHONE. THIS BUG WILL BE FIXED SOON
A several mount has passed since i released my game called Yeti Run for SkiFree. It is available on the Apple's appstore. Now it's time to introduce a new version of the game. Here a short list of new features:
- New visual appearance (changed color scheme and added a visual effects, like snow).
- Changed physics model (now the skier is much more responsive to your actions).
- Wider trace (for those, who considered the game as too hardcore;) ).
- And now you share the trace with another skiers (for those, who think, that with the wider trace it will be to easy;) ).
This game gave me a lot of extremely useful experience, and hope you, in turn, get some fun from it!

When the Apple introduced swift, it was like WOW! Finally we get the real next-gen (mean trendy-scripty) language for i-devices development (but without private class members, hmmm...). Well now this [squareBracketsDinasour language] can be sent to the museums, and we've got all this shiny new features. Of course we shouldn't be naive: the new language has to live some time to get well enough after children diseases. That's why i didn't started rewriting all my stuff using Swift just after announcement.
(did you notice, that this bird is falling down?)
Hi!
This is a special day. Today i finally done my first iOS game, called Yeti run: SkiFree. This one was inspired by the horror from my childhood: the terrifying snow monster from ski-free game for Windows 3.1.

Of course, we all are good developers, and hack - is not our way. But time by time ...
Well this little post is about my investigation of HFS+ filesystem. It was developed by Apple, and mostly known as an OSX's main filesystem. Last several months i had a lot of work, related to investigation and re-implementation of Apple's low-level technologies (like filesystem's support, and some EFI-related stuff), and that time i was trying to fix bug in my HFS+ support implementation code, and this encourages me to read this filesystem's specification more accurately.
